Feeling Towards the Sun
Feeling Towards the Sun contains images of Tae Parvit’s works on paper, along with photographs and video stills taken during his travels. These images were then revisited and interpreted by Thanart Rasanon—Parvit’s friend and a musician—who translated them into text and a musical composition expressing his feelings toward Thai politics.
The book’s design brings these two art forms together into what Leelasuphapong describes as a “container of the sun.” Produced during the Covid period, her own experience of sunlight—once a symbol of hope—felt restricted and diminished. Designing this book became an act of searching for ways to reconnect with the warmth of the sun she once knew.
