Downtime Parlor

The logo of Downtime Parlor draws from the story of the artists participating in the show, reflecting the mentality many contemporary artists face under today’s sociopolitical atmosphere. The exhibition considers the aftermath of political intensity not as a rupture but as a lingering, affective field—a time to inhabit rather than leave behind—extending into exhaustion, negotiation, and the daily recalibrations of living together and apart.
