Copied Cut Book
Copied Cut Book is a series of publications by Waterproof Exhibitions, considered as an experimental project to alternatively think about making and designing books. Some gestures were set as a system, in which we approach the book mainly by copying and cutting, and sometimes by bending, folding, binding, and stacking, for the sake of finding forms of the book we would like to explore. The first series started with using second-hand Japanese manga to apply those mentioned gestures to the original form, which is so chunky it allows us to turn it into a variety of forms.
